Our little’s love LEGO everything and its great entertainment especially in the Winter months. We love visiting area LEGO attractions and events as well. Were excited to share This Saturday, March 9, the Connecticut Science Center is hosting the FIRST LEGO League Jr. Expo. The expo┬áis designed for participants to showcase and celebrate the work they have completed over the past 12 weeks for the 2019 Challenge: Mission Moon. FIRST LEGO League Jr. is designed for children, ages 6-10, to be introduced to the exciting world of science, technology, engineering, and math.

“The challenge for those participating this year is Mission Moon. Working in teams, participants were
charged with identifying what they believed would be the most challenging aspects of living on the moon.
Guided by coaches, they went on to explore, create, test and apply their developing skill set in the areas of
basic engineering and programming. They addressed these identified challenges by building a Moon Base
model with at least one motorized part.”.

This sounds like a great learning experience for your kids and great family time at the Connecticut Science Center!
