Learning Resources carries a wide arrange of learning products for at home and for classrooms. My daughters favorite type of play is cooking, using her two kitchen and pizza oven as well as setting her play table and pretending to serve everyone food. Her imagination runs wild when she is doing this she thinks of the funniest combinations of food, she will do this for hours. She loves to help in the real kitchen as well. Shes only 3 but has a imagination and loves to help.
I was given the opportunity to review the New Sprouts Breakfast Basket and i found that this pretend food was made like no other. It was durable, felt realistic and was not cheap like alot of pretend food i find. You get a large variety of food including egg, glass of juice, cinnamon roll, banana, 2 strawberries, 1 purple berry cluster, mini bagel, 2 pancakes, cereal in bowl, yogurt, cantaloupe slice and 2 slices of bread. The only thing i found that was missing from breakfast was a muffin. The cereal bowl and glass of orange juice was pretty cool and realistic. I love that the food was soft plastic and bendable but durable. My daughter was not aware of some of the foods before she got the basket because she had not had them before she now knows all of them and is excited to try Cantaloupe! This is a great learning tool to teach children healthy eating and how important breakfast is to eat everyday to start their day.
Overall i am very impressed with the Learning Resources Breakfast Basket. It’s quality is fantastic and its price is affordable at $24.99! Well worth it! This is definitely a NEW loved toy in our household. Thanks Learning Resources!
