Lake Compounce Bristol, CT Review!
I was given the opportunity to review Lake Compounce in Bristol, CT with my family and we had a great time. The park was very clean and organized. The Water Park was the best part about the whole place, We spent most of our day in the Water Park staying cool. My daughter who is 2 adored the kid areas and they even had baby swings in the water where they could kick and splash while swinging she loved it. Then the older kids and my husband went on all the bigger slides and down the lazy river which was also fun.
We had lunch at the Croc Pot and it was fantastic! It was affordable and super good. Most parks you end up spending a fortune to eat but at Lake Compounce it was affordable and the portions were huge. One meal fed all the kids as they were huge! But i think that it was great they were so generous. It makes the park more affordable for large families to be able to enjoy the park and the food.
We did the amusement rides later in the day and my daughter loved the assortment of kiddie rides! The older kids and my husband went and enjoyed all the huge roller coasters and many other attractions for their age range. Here is a shot of my daughter enjoying herself on the train ride!
As you can see she is very happy! We had a great day! I would recommend visiting Lake Compounce on a weekday if you can i have heard that others found the park to be too overcrowded on the weekends.
